Matthias Eitner,
born in 1957 in Northern Germany, he began in 1982, his artistic and design studies at the HAW Hamburg. Throughout his education, he took classes with Prof. Brigitte Thoma in painting, Prof. Göttlicher in life drawing, and H.v. Cettriz in illustration. In 1985 he won the national design competition, organized by the WOOLMARK COMPANY. One year later he completed his studies with a diploma from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. and subsequently worked as a designer, stylist and art director. Since 2011 Matthias Eitner taught as a freelance lecturer at the University of Applied Siences, AMD Hamburg, focusing on creativity and improvisation as sources of artistic processes.
Nowedays, Matthias Eitner regularly exhibits his work both nationally and internationally, has received awards and participated in various projects and exhibition concepts in public. Notably, in 2022, he took part in the "DENKRAUM DEUTSCHLAND “Love & Peace" exhibition at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich, curated by Miro Craemer.
Since 2023 he worked constantly on the project "Apostles".
