Sveva Maria

Sveva Maria is a multidisciplinary creator who blends architecture, dance, and film into immersive visual experiences. Originally from Naples and raised in Bolzano, Sveva’s work often reflects her cultural heritage. She studied architecture at the Universität der Künste in Berlin, where she developed a deep understanding of spatial composition and design that informs her choreographic practice. After transitioning to dance, Sveva attended various programs across Europe and was last part of the Anfibia program in Bologna, exploring hybrid creative processes. Her project, Ginestra, merges architecture, movement, and film, offering a unique exploration of space and form. The piece premiered at the Festival Crudo in Bologna in May 2025.
