I am a self taught Fibre and Textile Artist, practicising over the last three years.  I create sculptural woven wall hangings with a sustainable outlook.  A driving force in my practice is a strong interest in reusing, recycling and reimagining materials and reducing waste.  I enjoy incorporating unusual found objects, recycled fibres, metals, wood, natures elements and textiles into my artworks.  I enjoy exploring new design concepts and experimenting with unusual combinations of materials.

Over the past two years, I have held two solo exhibitions – “Textura” 2019; and “Weaving Nature” in 2020.  Her works are held in private collections both locally and overseas.  A selection of Clare’s works can be viewed on Instagram -@Waefolio  and  Waefolio Projects on Facebook.
