Capable Dube was
born in Lupane, Matabeleland North, Zimbabwe in 1987. Having grown up as a
cattle header in the rocky, mountainous and close to the Hwange National Park
his love of the outdoors grew tremendously. Throughout his life, Capable has
always been fascinated by images and how the world is represented through the
eyes of others. Naturally, he was drawn to photography. The interest was
cultivated during his teenage years and further developed when he opted to take
art class as one of his electives at high school.
Due to his much
love for Art, Capable volunteered to teach art at high school and also
participated in various volunteer art teachings and participations in
Vocational Training centres around the city of Bulawayo. He feels that the
artistic exchange between the land and the artist opens up many opportunities.
Capable is a professional
Accountant, specializing in International Financial Reporting and Analysis. He
currently is a Student Supervisor and teaches grades 6 to 10 in order to help
them foster the same enthusiasm that he has for art. He is also pursuing a
