Marco Droghetti was born in Genoa, where he lives and works, in 1956. After technical studies and a long experience which planner, he dedicated himself to the science fiction, collaborating with several italian and foreign publishing houses and realizing books, between which "Blood on Stars", published by Ivaldi Edizioni, and "Stars 1001"on the original text of Mino Milani. Ivaldi Florenzo was the talent- scout of Hugo Pratt, and published the first episode of "Corto Maltese".
In 1980 he moved to Paris, where he lived for some years, collaborating with publishing houses, as "Echo des Savanes" by Albin Michel.
After this experience he realized an extraordinary pictorial comic strip, entitled "il Paladino" and decided to dedicate gimself to the painting.
He had a close relationship of artistic collaboration with the art historian Federico Zeri, for a decade, and some images of his paintings are preserved at "Fondazione Zeri" at the University of Bologna.
Since the year 2000 he has collaborated with several London Galleries, such as Happenstance Gallery, Hoxton Gallery, Space Gallery, Camden Image Gallery, and in Margate, presenting the "Vortici" series, along with other artworks.
