I am an artist weaver from a small town where I learned weaving in a local weaver's guild back in 2004. As an artisan guild we partook in numerous exhibitions concerning handcrafts and preserving the tradition of weaving combined with fashion, until we went our separate ways.
Over the course of almost two decades I have found my own style, which is marked by powerful storytelling, bold colour contrasts, re-designed patterns and an experimental approach to the use of weaving materials (all kinds of yarn, recycled textile, rope, grass, rafia, sisal, leather scraps). I have always been passionate about using my hands to create things and weaving became the main medium through which I express my artistic forces.
I've been focused mostly on building audience on social media and finding the right aesthetic in which to present my work online as well as trying to connect with other artists.
