I was born in Puglia in 1992, where I spent my childhood and formative years up to my university degree. It’s a place I’m deeply connected to, because it’s where the people I care about most live, and it remains a fundamental part of my identity.
In 2018, I moved to Milan in search of new professional opportunities, and today I work at the Policlinico hospital.
Drawing has been a part of my life since I was a child: when I used to accompany my father, a house painter, to work, I would cover the walls with colors, sketches, and improvised murals. For many years, art remained in the background, a silent passion.
Moving to Milan with its fast pace and sense of loneliness reignited something in me: I felt the need to express what I was experiencing, and I started drawing again. Without planning or expectations, I began a self-taught journey that continues to this day.
Over the years, I’ve experimented with various visual languages: from digital to ink, from acrylics to oil painting, which is currently my main expressive medium.
Working in a hospital demands a lot of time and energy, and I often have to find a balance between my job responsibilities and the need to paint. Painting is not something I do full-time, but it is an essential part of who I am. Each work is born in the time I manage to carve out for myself, and for that reason, it holds even deeper meaning.
I live and work in Milan, where I continue to develop my artistic practice, exhibiting in independent spaces and sharing my journey with other artists and collectives.
