Dintiman’s work is characterized by a deep connection to nature. Whether she is working directly with objects found in nature or taking nature as her subject, Dintiman strives to capture the intimate, emotional quality of certain natural settings, suffused as they are with time, change, and personal memory.
Dintiman's works are included in permanent collections of the Philadelphia Art Museum, the National Museum for Women in the Arts, the Chrysler Museum and The Arkansas Museum of Art, Commonweal Wellness Center, Grace Cathedral and Toyobo Senior Center, Osaka.
She was invited to submit to a collaborative PhD program at Sheffield Hallum University's "Lab 4 Living" Art/Science Program, pending return to normal wellness situation in the UK.
Dintiman was nominated for a Fleishhacker "Eureka Award" 2019. She has received fellowships from the Yaddo Corporation, Dorland’s Mountain Colony, Haystack School, a P.B.Widner Traveling Fellowship and Cooper Union Mid Career Residency as well as a California Arts Council Grants. Dintiman's work—including sculptures, prints, drawings, photography—have been exhibited in venues such as ICPNY, Christy’s MidTown, museums , non profit venues across the country as well as abroad.
Dintiman has taught at California College of Arts as well as other CA colleges, Renaissance Arts School and the San Francisco Arts Foundation; from 2004 she was on the faculty at the Manhattan Graphics Center She taught with Gramercy Arts and HS of Arts And Design in Manhattan.
Dintiman graduated from CCA Printmaking/Sculpture "High Distinction". She received Distinguished Alumni from Moore College of Art and Design 2022.
She is a member of A.I.R. in Brooklyn, NY . Most recently, a Puffin Foundation Grant was awarded for her work with ecologically grown works and research.
