Monica Di Bartolo has been painting her whole life, always seeking new opportunities to translate inner experiences into art. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, she trained in several architectural firms in the capital, and later refined her experience at the Sensini restoration studio in Arezzo. My works are sensorial microcosms to be explored: suspended spaces where time slows and matter transforms into image, presence, and memory. In my works, colors, textures, tactile qualities, and sensations of nature intertwine with life experiences, transforming matter into a bridge to inner contemplation. I use acrylics, pigments, lime putty, marble dust, spray paint, tar, charcoal, chalk, and wax to create abstract compositions that invite tranquility and spiritual reflection. The diversity of materials gives the work depth and consistency, while colors, shapes, and textures explore the interplay between structure and chaos, permanence and change, as a metaphor for the human journey and the balance between body, mind, and soul. Each painting thus becomes a visual poem, a place where the viewer can immerse themselves, feel, and meditate. My abstract paintings, created with energy and passion, aim not only to inspire joy, but also to stimulate introspection, contemplation, and connection with the profound meaning of life and the beauty that surrounds us
