Peter Devenyi consistently pursues studies
in art history, philosophy of art and aesthetics, and neuroscience—all in
parallel with his experimental photographic and computer art activity, in order
to thus widen his creative vision and inform his artistic research. Two years
ago he joined and has since published with the Neuroscience of Imagination,
Cognition and Emotion Research (NICER) laboratory at Carleton University in
Ottawa, Canada. His recent exhibitions include “Acropolis Remix” in Athens and
Belo Horizonte, “Paratissima Skopje”, and “Mini Print International” in
Cadaquéz. Peter Devenyi has a bachelor’s degree in studio art from the
University of Ottawa. He lives near Ottawa, spending time with his father, who
is a retired scientist.
