Harris Benjamin Deno is a mixed media visual artist whose practice involves iterative recollection of lived experience expressed through concrete material studies. Color, line, and form function as ciphers for formidable memories - those experiences which have been reduced to small fragmented forms to exist more comfortably in the subconscious. Though discernible imagery offers a point of entry, the breath of obscurity threatens the viewer with only an arms-length truth. Much like a comfortable recollection may live in the mind, it is the space between ambiguity and truth within which these works operate.
