Reigning from northern Alabama, Eva Dennis has been creating digital character illustrations for over a decade. One of her strongest joys involves bringing diverse characters to life, and helping people understand the power character designs can have on our influences.
She intends to present her work with a balance of charm, confidence, and nostalgia, and her style is combined with the youthful flavor of cel-shade, to the classical elegance of digital painting.
The primary tools used are Adobe Photoshop with a Wacom Cintiq, and with occasional use of Procreate on the iPad Pro. There has always been a fascination with technology, and she has loved the process of drawing and painting characters digitally.
Since 2012, Eva has gained experience in art directing for game development projects, conceptualizing characters for video game companies, and has displayed her art at numerous conventions including Gen Con, Wondercon, and A Spectacular Black Girl Art Show.
