Born and raised in Germany into a family of artists and musicians, Fedor has been exposed to visual art and its creation since early childhood. His father Professor Felix Michael Deichmann was a German painter and pianist who studied with acclaimed painter Bruno Müller-Linow, a member of the Munich Secession artist association. Fedor grew up learning classical landscape painting at home with his father and eventually ventured away from figurative art to abstract expressionism. He has been a frequent visitor to galleries and museums since early childhood and is particularly inspired by the works of Wassily Kandinsky, Willem de Kooning and Paul Klee. Fedor received his Bachelor of Arts from Yale University in 2011, where he also served as a gallery guide of the Yale University Art Gallery. He currently lives and works in Berlin.
