Boris Deheljan was born on April 11,1981. in Belgrade, Serbia (then Yugoslavia) where he completed secondary mechanical school. Since 2013, he has been working on creating innovative sculptures, the most famous of which are life-size sculptures of Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis and Walter (Velimir Bata Zivojinovic). They derive from his love for rock'n'roll, mechanics, and ex-Yugoslav cinema, which the artist considers being the only way leading to freedom of the spirit.
In his youth, he initially channeled his interests towards the automobile and motor mechanics, and as a teenager, adapted his first engine and was the first motorcycle racer for his local garage club. Later on, in the same garage, he began utilizing his creative streak for various purposes, including, among other things, art. His talent, quick ideas and ingenuity, and above all his expertise in his work, were soon spotted by his friends from various artistic spheres, and he began to work on different projects, among others, in the sector of scene design, where he was part of a team that was creating a scenography for the Serbian horror film Mamula", and for "Four Roses", but also for some theater performances.

In addition to these four life-size figures, Boris has also made twenty small sculptures (lamps), which are privately owned. Sculpture material is made of screws, various wires, nuts, armatures, nails, bolts and other metal profiles, which are connected as the whole by a welding system (CO2) machine. All works were created without molds and models depending on personal inspiration and piece by piece technique. The hands and arms of the sculptures are formed by melting the welding wire and by on- site welding and sculpting. The artist has had four independent and five collective exhibitions, most notably in Paris, Halle Saint Pierre in 2018.
