Manu Moraes is a student at UFBA - Federal University of Bahia - in the Performing Arts course - Interpretation, has complementary training in Performing Arts, by the Theater Company of Associação Cultural Brasil - United States with a 450h \ a technical training course, under the direction of Fernando Guerreiro. In 2013, she joined the Free Theater Course at UFBA under the coordination of Marcio Meirelles. In 2017, she joined the undergraduate course in Performing Arts - Interpretation - at UFBA. In the search for the elaboration of her art, she participated in several workshops in different nuances, such as: Street Art and Clown Workshop with the Nariz de Cogumelo Group; Oficinas do Vila - Cinema Interpretation with Franklin Albuquerque; Vila Velha Dance Workshop with Mestre Zebrinha; Singing at Vila Velha workshops with Prof. Graça Reis; The Poetics of the Actor with Moncho Rodrigues (Portugal) and Workshop for Actors of the Dimenti Group. In 2016, she joined the Audiovisual Interpretation Workshop at the Cinearts project - UNEB 2016. During her stay in Brasilia she participated in the Performing Arts Workshops at Instituto Dulcina Moraes. History of African Theater, SP School of Theater, minister Napo Masheane (South Africa). Manu Moraes had the opportunity to integrate the casts of the theater plays: "Amor Cruzado", dir. Fernando Guerreiro; "Over Duplo", dir. Elisa Mendes; "Deus", dir. Fernando Guerreiro; "A Novela do Murro", directed by Jorge Alencar, Dimenti group, "O Compadre de Ogum", directed by Edvard Passos, the latter with 6 nominations for the Braskem Awards, being awarded the Best Direction; Monologue - "Carolina Maria de Jesus, A Vedete da Favela" dir Alexandre Menezes, "Orientação" João Sanches; "Macbeth Animal", dir Gabriel Nascimento; "Pele Negra, Máscaras Brancas", dir Onisajé, with 3 nominations for Braskem Awards and three nominations for the Cenym Awards; "Interiors - Documentary Theater", directed by Thiago Romero.
In audiovisual, she made the short films "O Rastro da Serpente", by Israel Motta (unpublished); "Comongol", by Gustavo Carvalho; and participation in the feature film "Palavra e Utopia", by Portuguese director Manoel Oliveira, on the life of Priest Antônio Vieira;
