IRENE
PEIXOTO

Graduated in Design from the UFRJ School of Fine Arts, postgraduate from the École Supérieure des Arts Modernes - Paris, Masters from Escola de Comunicação of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Ph.D. from the Graduation Program in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Rio de Janeiro.

In 1979, she became a managing partner at the office she started from, Tira-Linhas Studio, wherein over 26 years of work she developed hundreds of graphic projects mainly in the fields of Fashion and Fine Arts.

In 1992 became a professor in the Visual Communication course at EBA / UFRJ, conciliating her professional activities with design teaching. 

In 2006, started her second office, Nucleo-i Designers Associados, where she continues to develop several commercial and cultural projects. 

In 2017 started to minister classes in the Graduation Program in Visual Arts and Design at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, conducting researches and projects that operate at the front of Visual Arts and Design.
