My name is Santiago Martínez de la Parra, I am 18 years old, I am the oldest of 7 siblings and I live in Mexico City. I have lived in different states of my country, I have changed schools many times, thanks to this I have become aware of things that generally people do not see, it has helped me to be resistant to change and lately it has helped me to better discover who I am already what I am called (as strange as this sounds).
Since I can remember I have been a very creative person, lover of drawing and painting, something that I think little by little I was absorbing from my maternal grandmother, who was an excellent painter, I think indirectly I learned a lot from her and my mother When it comes to transmitting feelings and not repressing them, the idea that people can understand how I feel and see even beyond my exterior through my art, is really something that really excites me.
4 years ago I decided to leave conventional school and start studying on my own, this in order to get away from the noise it causes and the distractions that it often brings. I decided that this age I am going through is really to get to know myself better and discover what I am really passionate about, which is art and architecture, the latter is the career I decided to study on the subject of being able to leave behind huge and momentous things like buildings or houses are, being able to help through art, so that people get to know each other better and seek to extract the best from themselves, is something that drives me to follow this dream that I have of being an artist as influential as Picasso, Warhol or Barragán have been and achieve that my art is something that helps each person to get to know each other and to understand that this call to transcendence and to be the best version of themselves.
