Carolina De la Barra is a Chilean visual artist whose pictorial practice lies at the intersection of gestural freedom and formal rigor. With a Diploma in Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a scholarship from the Sociedad Nacional de Bellas Artes, her work explores the duality between the organic and the geometric as a metaphor for the human tension between the unconscious and conscious structure. Through a sensitive use of glazes, stains, and an emotionally charged color palette, De la Barra constructs visual dialogues where automatism coexists with formal restraint. Since 2022, she has been a member of the 21 Arte Taller collective, actively participating in the Chilean cultural center circuit.
