Marco De Gregorio qualified
as an Architect in 2004 from University
of Architecture of Reggio
Calabria in Italy.
He has worked in diverse architectural offices and has been executing
several private commissions.
In 2006 he moved to Barcelona, Spain,
where he worked at EMBT Miralles-Tagliabue architecture studio.
For the last two years he has had his own architecture practice doing international
competitions ranging from urban developmentās and building proposals.
In 2007 he founded the multidisciplinary architecture studio ranging
from architecture interiors furniture and painting, caring out several private
commissions.
Parallel to the architecture practice, Marco De
Gregorio is concerned about the research and the developing of Digital
Architecture pursuing the aesthetics of the virtual space.
The graphic architecture project is a research and a
tool to create a visionary world. As investigation it helps to stimulate and to
create a virtual environment otherwise impossible. The digital graphic
architecture explores the technological possibilities to cross the borderline of
reality, giving life to an unreal world where the meanings of matter, shape and
time change continuously.
For the last 17th years he participate to various
solo and collective exhibitions (A-gallery Copenhagen DK, WTC expo Shanghai,...)
as well he has published his works in magazine and books (Rojo Magazine limited
edition, Belio 031 Dystopia,...).
