I was born in the USA to Belgian parents who started their family life together abroad. We moved back to Belgium when I was 10 months old and I was then raised in Brussels, the first city I called home. I attended the International School of Brussels, where my mom teaches high school physics. I left at 18 years old to pursue Engineering studies at EPFL in Lausanne.
I enjoyed drawing when I was younger; however, I didn't spend much time exploring my creative side in my young adult life since all my attention was directed towards my studies. I do appreciate the world of maths and science and there is something reassuring about logical reasoning. Still, I felt something was missing in my life, that part of me was missing.
Once I graduated, I stayed in Switzerland for work and decided to dive into my passion for art. I have spent the last 3.5 years reconnecting with the creative side of me that I had ignored for so many years. I enjoy creating art for myself but also to share with others (family/friends/strangers). It helps me escape reality and feel freeāit feels like a new world opens up to you when you have a paintbrush in your hands.
