About
Christian Daugaard
ChristianDaugaard (1978) is
a danish artist. His work and technique has been developed rapidly over the years.
He has a unique style that has been honed by lectures by acknowledged artists,
and by his time at the art academy in Aarhus (DK) where he also teaches.
In many of his paintings there is a recurrent 3 dimensional theme that remind
the viewer, that the artwork has a connection to reality. Christian Daugaards
paintings come to life through either a very thought through process or in
bursts of a spontaneous and emotional state of mind. The spontaneous work
approach shows in the many different types of paintings he has produced over
the last few years. The style is always changing ever so slightly, and the
ideas for new compositions seems endless. The broad experience in styles has
given Christian Daugaard a well trained eye for how to create a composition
that seems interesting, makes you wonder, but still but still guides you to
see, what he is seeing.
Over the last couple of years he has had several exhibitions in galleries in Denmark
and also had exhibitions at several of the censored official State-recognized
artshows.
