Dana Bechert

Dana Bechert is a ceramic artist living and working in Lancaster County, PA. She was born in Essex, Connecticut in 1990 to two artist parents. In 2012 Dana received her BFA in Interdisciplinary Sculpture and Sustainability and Social Practice from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore. In 2013 Dana founded her eponymous studio and has since been featured in numerous publications including, The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Dwell and Martha Stewart Living. Dana sells her pottery online, at national craft shows, and in high-end shops across the country. In addition to her studio practice, Dana helps keep a large flower and vegetable garden, and spends time traveling, sailing the Chesapeake Bay and hiking.
