Viola Damiani

Viola Damiani is an italian freelance documentary photographer, specializing in social reportage and corporate events. She lives in Rome, Italy. She is the author and director of documentaries broadcasted on Rai3.

She studied Graphic Design and Advertising at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome, where she earned her degree in 2004. She worked for years in the world of design and graphics for Italian and international clients with TheSign and the multinational agency Leo Burnett.

In 2010, she left the world of advertising and agencies to fully dedicate herself to photography, which had always run parallel to graphic design.

A crucial point in her education was the professional in-depth master’s program in contemporary photojournalism by Emiliano Mancuso at Officine Fotografiche in 2013.

She lives in Rome and works for clients and on her personal project in Italy and abroad.
