-Donate a portion of earned income to charity.
STATEMENT
Usually hyperrealists focus so much on details that the final result is an artificious representation of reality, very clear once seen close up. Bryan instead worked hard on getting every detail without sacrificing the depth of the bigger picture, mantaining its real identity by using a different approach based on fluidity.
He worked years into developing a totally new technique, with the goal to get even the subtlest tonal transitions, usually overly simplified by photography itself to recreate a new reality rather than a faded copy of it such as a picture.
TECHNIQUE
All the values of his artworks are obtained within three grades of graphite pencils, as Bryan focuses more on technique than tools.
His paradigm is to approach complexity by dissecting it into the simplest elements, using the poorest materials.
