Stefania Dal Molin was born in Belluno and from an early age she showed a clear artistic tendency and a preference for drawing and color. For pleasure, she will never abandon the world of art that has become her life. Graduated in decoration and restoration at the State Institute of Art for Ceramics Gaetano Ballardini in Faenza, she worked as a restorer for the museum of Carpi and Imola as well as for the sculptor Angelo Biancini. She collaborated as a decorator for the Bertozzi and Casoni factory, creating, among other things, the painting for the ceramic version, of Alessandro Mendini's "Proust Armchair". In 1981 she joined a large ceramic company in Imola, where she worked for 39 years, first as a decorator, and then as a designer renewing the production lines. As a self-taught woman, her passion for painting and drawing is still there. Even in her sculpture, that she learnt from the master Angelo Biancini and Raffaele Mondini, there is a personal vision that is metaphysical and real at the same time. Her portraits are real insights into the soul. She has participated in various exhibitions and competitions; some of her works have been purchased in private collections and museums both in Italy and abroad.
