Alexander Dakers, known professionally as ZanderArtwork, is a multidisciplinary artist based in Bournemouth, UK, whose vibrant, emotionally resonant work explores identity, memory, and the human condition through painting and mixed media. Born in Innellan, Scotland, Dakers studied art in Glasgow school of Art and has exhibited internationally, including solo shows at The Brick Lane Gallery in London and participation in events in Tokyo and New York. His work has been exhibited in major cities such as London, Tokyo, Glasgow and New York.
He has received notable recognitions, including placing 7th at the New York Art Expo, 3rd place at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, and 4th at the Tokyo Art Fair. In 2024, his deeply personal work “Fathers and Sons” was awarded Scotland’s Number 1 Exhibition. Dakers was also named among the Best 50 International Artists by the Persona Art Honours 2025.
Committed to humanitarian causes, Alexander has collaborated with organisations such as Amnesty International and Dorset Blind Association, raising thousands to support human rights and community services. He also created a lot of live art and sold paintings during lockdown to support learning and fundraising for a school project in Uganda
