I am a landscape and abstract painter, and I invite you to explore my art that reflects the beauty of nature and the depth of human feelings.I am a retired creative soul with a passion for painting and drawing that has always been my true love. While I studied dress design, it was the canvas that called to me most fiercely, allowing my imagination to flow freely. Now, in this new chapter of my life, I dedicate my time to exploring colors, shapes, and textures, creating pieces that reflect my inner vision. Whether through a brush or pencil, I find joy in bringing my ideas to life and sharing my artistic journey with others, continuously inspired by the beauty that surrounds me.
I was born in Bedford, UK to Italian parents, and am now an ex-pat living and painting in Italy.
I showed a strong talent for pensil drawing and for colour at a very young age.
I frequented the Barnfield College of Arts & Technology taking a four-year course in fashion design and clothing technology, finalyear's debut at the London College of Art. I then worked several years in London fashion houses Inega Jeans and Rapture Jeans. I also worked in the costume department during the making of the films Barry Lynden and Revolution.
Although working in other fields, over the years I have always painted and in 1992, won a runner up prize in an international exhibition, that offered me personal hanging space for one year at the Limner Gallery of Soho in New York.
I am now drawing and painting full-time and enjoy painting with various mediums and subjects and in varying styles.
This past year I have enjoyed doing some plein air painting of landscapes and Seascapes, and I am also really enjoying making abstracts of various types, I love the many forms of abstract expression, the fluid art of Dutch pouring, and the Geodes
