Born and rise in a classic artistic environment of imagery, where my father was a sculptor, and my uncle was a religious embroidered, in Córdoba Spain. During my childhood, I spend most of my time playing in these two ateliers learning traditional skills and techniques naturally, but always I was dreaming to do something different.
Ph.D. in Fine Art, I studied in Seville, Cuenca & Altea in Spain a mixture of Classic education and the most contemporary one in Spanish Universities, at that time.
My main motivation in art is to use it as means of knowledge by emotional codes that fine arts use as language. The art of science and philosophy are always present in my art activity. I've been collaborating over the past years with the science of emotions with the Neurologist Tom Farrow and PCT psychologist Warren Mansell of Sheffield and Manchester Universities working on how art and creativity burn and develop empathy.
My pictorial art touches your emotions through colours at the limbic level.
I've developed my career in Spain and England, in London, nowadays I am doing it at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City. Since 2018 I've worked in the USA for several periods of time. My art activity in New Jersey /NYC/Vermont provided me with a visa to stay working between Europe and America.
My work is a mixture of public art, conceptual/social art & painting. I usually make connections with science because I believe that Art & Science have a good symbiotic intellectual relationship that feeds each other.
