A doctor, originally from Abrantes, resides in Coimbra. She began her activity as a visual artist in 1998, and since then has continuously attended free courses in drawing, painting and sculpture with the sculptor António Valente and other courses related to visual arts.
Since 1998, she has participated in 111 exhibitions in Portugal and abroad (Canada, Spain, France, Italy, Brazil, USA), of which 23 were solo exhibitions and 88 were group exhibitions.
She is represented in private and official collections.
Participation in international art fairs: Artexpo New York 2008, 2009 and 2010, Puro Arte Vigo Fair 2008, Feria Mercado de Los Artista 2009, in Madrid and FIARTE Arteuropa 2011, in Coimbra.
Finalist for the Arte Laguna Prize 2015, Venice-Italy with the work “Faceless” and for the Artmap Poetry in Visual 2015, in Aveiro-Portugal.
1st prizes: painting by Mário Botas (SOPEAM) in 2003 and photography by Jorge Silva Araújo (SOPEAM) in 2023.
Honorable Mention in the Painting Competition of the Order of Physicians of the Central Zone, integrated into the II Meeting “Being a Doctor”, October 2003.1st Prize in the competition organized by the Sonae group for the representation of Coimbra in the CowParade Lisbon. Live painting of a three-dimensional model, entitled “Coimbra, City of Knowledge”, exhibited in Lisbon from May to August 2006, with an auction that benefited social causes.

Author of the Artist's Book in 2014, entitled "With the Tree," a wordless book,in which the images were created using linoleum engraving, 15 copies.Represented in the 2009 Art Guide published by Artes e Leilões and in national and international art books.Organizer of 4 collective art exhibitions.From 2015 to 2019 she was a member of Circleuphoria - a theatrical association, having been a member of the governing bodies, co-author and performer of the material and texts, and actress in object and puppet theater pieces.
In addition to large-format painting and sculpture in various materials, she creates small-format pieces and sculptures in papier-mâché and other materials, assemblage, and botanical jewelry art with dehydrated and vitrified natural flowers and leaves.
