Roberta Coldel was born in Venice in 1972. She graduated from the School of Art in Venice, specialization “Metals and Gold”, she studied Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. In 2007 she followed the training course “Not to make mistakes is prohibited” kept by Alessandro Sanna. Among the various collaborations she boasts that for the video of the “New collection Schulhof” for the Guggenheim Museum in Venice as a production assistant and the realization of the installation “Shower of Glasses” presented at Mido in Milan and at Silmo in Paris for a brand of Italian eyewear . Recent exposures were in the art gallery Mestre Contemporary and in Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi. 2016, temporary exhibition at “Heel 11” in Spinea, owned by Federica Pellegrini; for her she made one of his archery works. In 2016, with two young girls suffering of spastic tetraparesis, she produced illustrations for the book “A4DITA”, containing three original stories written by the Venetian historian Alberto Toso Fei, published by “Venice Art House” presented at Palazzo Ca ‘Zanardi , in collaboration with the artist Mark Kostaby and the musician Tony Esposito.
In 2018 she exhibited in the Palace of Prisons in Piazza San Marco in Venice. On this occasion she creates her latest installations made of super mirrored steel and concrete. In these works she takes up ancient art to give life to a new creative process.
