Damaris Codrea is a Romanian artist based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Through painting, she explores the landscapes of human experience, investigating themes of transition, memory, and becoming. Working with mineral textures, marble dust, sand, acrylic, oil, she builds her paintings through a physical process of layering, excavation, and discovery.

Rather than beginning with a fixed image, she allows forms to emerge gradually through the material itself, creating works that reflect the complexity of human experience and the traces left by time.
