I am an Italian woman, living in a small town in Puglia, south of Italy. I am a teacher, in love with my job and currently working in a high school in my hometown, where I came back afetr living, studying and working in Bologna for 10 years. I love travelling because that gives me the chance to meet people and different cultures whose beauty I can capture through my camera; wherever I go, I search for places where I can enjoy art, may it be ancient, modern or contemporary.
I have always loved art but I never thought I could make it somehow. Last year, during the second lockdown, I was caught by two kids' eyes which reminded me of how much I loved drawing eyes when I was a child. My new journey in art was about to start. Since then I couldn't stop drawing: it's something urging, as if it were a way to shape my feelings and set me free. The more I drew, the more I wanted to, experiencing the possibilities with graphite, though completely aware that I'm still learning.
I found myself serching light in the eyes of kids, women and old men pictured by great photographers and flashing a world behind, I wanted to explore more and more deeply to better understand myself in the here and now.
