Clara Eon began her professional training as a classical and modern jazz dancer at the Artistic Chorégraphia Company in the Hérault region of France. When she arrived in Paris, she discovered the work of Ohad Naharin, whose Gaga classes marked a turning point in her training.
Clara also had her first experiences in cinema under the direction of André Téchiné in the film Nos Années Folles, while continuing her training as an actress at the Studio Pygmalion. She had several roles in short films, commercials and music videos.
In parallel to her acting activity, she started performing and joined the National School of Fine Arts in Paris in 2019.
Now in her fourth year, she is making experimental videos in the studios of Angelica Mesiti and Clément Cogitore.
Through her video projects, Clara explores the domains of intimacy and sensuality through the staging of bodies, regardless of their age, gender or training. She seeks to choreograph gestures reduced to their simplest expression and attempts to translate emotions in a way that remains accessible to anyone.
Then, in her performance practice, she developed the character of a burlesque stripper, named La Cigale, inspired by the showgirls of the 1920s.
She is now represented by François Tessier at the AIMANT agency.
