I am a French contemporary artist whose work explores the profound connections between the living world, nature, and human emotion through an abstract visual language built around the dot.
I have been painting since childhood, driven by an instinctive need to create. My exploration of pointillism began with a family commission inspired by the aesthetics of Australian Aboriginal art. Although this experience was the starting point of my research, it gradually led me to develop a visual language that is entirely my own.
My inspiration comes from my travels, the landscapes I encounter, and the infinite richness of the living world. Through thousands of individually painted dots, I create organic compositions that evoke movement, vibration, and the invisible forces that connect all forms of life. I am not interested in representing nature as it appears, but in expressing the energy that flows through it.
My profession as a nurse has a profound influence on my artistic practice. Every day, I witness the complexity, fragility, and extraordinary intelligence of the living world. Cellular networks, biological rhythms, breath, and the constant transformation of life naturally nourish my artistic vision and shape the way I compose my paintings.
For me, the dot is much more than a visual element. It embodies wholeness, movement, breath, and the journey of life. Every dot reflects a moment, a gesture, a heartbeat. Repeated patiently, one after another, they become a metaphor for everything I experience every day and for the invisible connections that unite us with one another and with the living world.
Through my work, I invite viewers to slow down, to breathe, and to immerse themselves in a contemplative space where colour, rhythm, and light create an emotional experience. I hope my paintings encourage a deeper connection with the living world, with nature, and ultimately, with ourselves.
