She was born in South Korea. Currently, she is living in Vienna, Austria.

She graduated from Sookmyung Woman's University in South Korea, and she has lived in Egypt, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and the United States.

When she was in the U.S., she took a drawing class at Glendale Community college.

She likes to follow the movement of lights that bounces off objects. She loves to express it with bold, daring, speedy brush strokes, or with a variety of colors. She prefers to layer colors until she gets what color she wants on the canvas rather than make a color on a palette.
