Graduated from the MMus in Creative Practice at Goldsmiths, University of London, and holding an MSc degree in Forestry and Environmental Resources from National Taiwan University, admitted to the Department of Photography and Imaging at Kyoto University of the Arts. My interdisciplinary practice combines sound art, moving image, and natural sciences, focusing on the relationships between land ecology, natural cycles, and human perception. My works take the form of sound installations, video, multimedia environments, and experimental practices using natural materials, exploring sound as an entry point for environmental perception and investigating the subtle boundaries between nature and human activity. Following the completion of my graduation project in London, I was selected for the Kaohsiung Award, a major contemporary art award in Taiwan.
Beyond my artistic practice, I have worked as a songwriter for Linfair Records, contributing to songwriting for a Netflix series (Song: White lies, 2023), as well as vocal arrangement and backing vocals for recording artists. I am also a long-term live house performer. By integrating musical expertise, moving image techniques, and a background in environmental science, my practice seeks to develop new perceptual vocabularies between art, sound, and nature, exploring possibilities for coexistence between humans and the environment.
