A mix of formal education, immersed in the ecological mindset, aesthetic appreciation and experience with a niche market, Nitish is a young talent with a background in sustainable product design and marketing. He connects with his audience primarily by transforming old items into new ones, working with used pens, old clothes, wooden pallets and adding colors to grey walls among others. Oscillating between upcycling and street art, Nitish pushes the boundaries of his practice by experimenting with different mediums and techniques every time he can.
Nitish likes to find ways to make people interact with his works through the inclusion of waste materials, typography, geometric shapes and bright colors. While it is easy for Nitish to find inspiration in his everyday life, he is still trying to create his fantasy world whose purpose would be simple: spread out positive vibes and energy through his works that the audience will accept with open arms.
After the lockdown, Nitish found himself with most of his creative projects either postponed or cancelled, and as a result had to start from scratch. He now has a series of new projects lined up, for which he will need to seek funding, but has the potential to change the landscape of how trash or waste is seen around the island. Nitish will soon be launching "Koloriaz" as an artistic platform and alias to share his ideas with everyone.
