GEOMANTE was born from the idea of developing projects related to Art, Architecture, Bio-construction and recycling materials. Inspire by Nature, Geometry, Geomancy, Mayans and God. Born in Guatemala City, he currently lives and works North of Petén, deep in the Mayan jungle of Guatemala. Interested in Art, Design and construction since childhood, inspired by nature and the materials it offers, he began to have experience in the rural area of Guatemala. He worked with the communities around Lake Atitlán as project manager at a local NGO that works green architecture and develops projects based on the needs of the community. He has experience with different materials, including bamboo, stone, wood, cane, concrete, metal and recycle material (plastic, rubber, and others) He has participated in different festivals around the world where he has designed and built sculptures, installations and stages, these inspired by the Mayan culture, universal Geometry and Nature. Now he works social and private projects deep in the jungle, around Lake Petén Itzá.
