I come from Taiwan, an island marked by distinct seasons and solar terms. Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to nature and handmade objects—quietly observing the blooming and withering of flowers, collecting stones, and reshaping materials with my hands. This sensitivity to the natural world continues to nourish my artistic practice.
With a background in design, I’ve worked professionally in the field while creating art in parallel. My works weave together faith, emotion, and natural imagery, using materials such as ink, mineral pigments, wax crayons, ropes, and stones to explore cycles of life, emotional transformation, and the passage of time.
My paintings often depict plants and seasonal transitions, blending Eastern calligraphic aesthetics with the gentle warmth of mineral color to capture emotional flow. My sculptural works investigate the connection between geology, faith, and the body, inviting tactile engagement and a renewed relationship with nature.
To me, art is a form of contemplative practice and a slow yet genuine mode of dialogue. Through my works, I hope to guide viewers into moments of stillness and reflection—rediscovering the bonds between nature and self, and letting art become a bridge of connection.
