Ludovica is a production designer born and raised in Milan.
From a very young age, Ludovica shows a strong passion for the arts and begins expressing her creative talent. At the age of 14 undertakes fine arts studies at Liceo di Brera, where she learns sculpting and drawing techniques.
Later in 2018, Ludovica graduates at the University of the Arts London UAL, in Technical Arts and Special Effects, where she deepens her knowledge of set design and prop making.
Since graduation, Ludovica had the opportunity to collaborate with well-known fashion companies in the creation of props and sets.
Her clients' list includes Maison Margiela, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli and Intimissimi.
During the past two years, Ludovica worked in Seoul, South Korea, where collaborated with video production studios and fashion brands.
In 2021 starts her own business, an art residency in Sardinia, Italy. The first artist invited to collaborate in the residency is Gabriele Paolo Alfredo Brambilla, Ludovica’s old friend from Milano, now based in London.
Gabriele Paolo Alfredo is an Italian designer-maker based in London.
His practice transforms objects often left in the shade of cultural awareness and takes inspiration from their function, design, and beauty to create new but familiar objects.
By experimenting with and reworking both artisan and industrial production processes, GPA is able to reimagine materials and their application.
He embraces a wide variety of techniques and methods, combining craftsmanship with technology to create a broad range of hand-made products, one-off, and limited production collectible works.
Coming from a mostly scientific background, he expresses his own character by interweaving an artistic attitude with an analytical design approach which results in a production that explores the technical materiality while maintaining the inspiration pieces’ aesthetic origins.
