Through painting, installation and performance, she creates immersive and sensorial works that investigate transformation, memory and processes of becoming. Working across different media, she explores themes of identity, belonging and metamorphosis through a visual language that is both intimate and symbolic, where colour becomes an emotional, relational and experiential force.
Over the past two decades, Cascone has presented nearly thirty solo exhibitions, installations and performances in museums, galleries and institutional venues across Europe, including projects developed for the House of European History, Train World Museum, KBR Museum and BELvue Museum in Brussels.
Her work moves across disciplines while maintaining a strong visual identity, inviting reflection on the relationships between identity, perception and change.
Drawing on a background in Political Science, Human Rights, Fine Arts and Art Therapy, she approaches artistic creation as a space for exploration, where material, image and gesture become emotional, political and relational experience.
