Leonardo Cardamone, born in Vittoria (RG) on June 15, 2000, enrolled at the Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM, Cinema Department, in 2020, graduating in 2022. That same year, he participated in the archival research call at the Venice Biennale, working under the mentorship of Helga Greggio. He presented the data collected from this archival experience before a committee and attended the Golden Lion award ceremony with the same, having the opportunity to meet and personally interact with award-winning artists and guests from around the world. In 2023, he participated as a journalist and reviewer at the Venice International Film Festival, publishing five thematic articles on behalf of Edizioni Ares. During the film festival, he entered the "A casa prima del buio" contest with the experimental story Grammatica di una giornata, which was selected as one of the 30 stories for the contest's anthology publication. In 2022, he enrolled at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in Cinema and Video, while simultaneously enrolling in the Cinema and Art Studies program at the University of Milan. In 2023, he spent a semester at Paris 8 University, where he participated in the Nikon Festival with two short films. In January 2024, he successfully participated in the Video Art Academy competition, Videoformes 2024, leading to an exhibition in Paris at the Galerie Dolet. During the same period, he participated in the third edition of the "Second Life: tutto torna" competition, where he was one of the three winners. Following his victory, he took part in exhibitions at Palazzo Vecchio in Florence and the Centro Pecci in Prato.4o
