Born 1989, in Como (Italy), Linda Caracciolo Borra has developed a multidisciplinary practice mostly as an auto-didact, partly she had the opportunity to be part of the artists-in-residence at ENSP (École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie) in Arles between 2013 and 2015. Later on she understood the urge to go broader in terms of discipline. Photography was too restrictive. Therefore she has been admitted to the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam where she studied Fine Arts for the first two years and then, moved again to France and ended her Fine Arts BA with top honours at HEAR (Haute École des Arts du Rhin). Over there she could exhibit collectively in contemporary art spaces such as the Kunsthalle and Le Séchoir. In late 2019 she was commissioned a series of four artworks for the Cultural Centre of Milan for the exhibition of Dutch artist Guy Harloff. Recently she has been focusing on what she calls electronic poetry, a research on language and its abstraction, poetic writing and its performance under the form of sound.
