My artistic work is essentially made of clays and minerals. It explores and inscribes into a reflection on the body and its metamorphoses, on the matter and the mineral, in connection with the self, the protection and the objects which surround us, in a game questioning the link and the return to the earth. From the warriors of desire, characters surmounted by greedy forms, to the flowers which seem to become humanized, passing by the everyday objects loaded with animism, my research is in movement and the being, its bastion. Attracted by human nature and its risibility, the bodily manifestations, catch this world, make enter in the reality a real which escapes us, a real-played is of stake in my work. "Love is a pebble that laughs in the sun" said Jacques Lacan, so let's knead it not to leave a drop, let's drink from the sources, like a Rabelaisian divine bottle. "The work of Camille Sabatier is the sign of a ceaseless return to a repertory of obsessions - the wanderings of the psyche, the uncertainty of the being, the aspiration to other universes, not normalized... Art is desire and, as such, opening and reiteration" Paul Ardenne, art theorist.
