Ricardo Cabrera Zambrano (Quito, 1993) is an Ecuadorian multidisciplinary artist, cultural manager, and museographer whose work explores the relationship between human beings, nature, and space within a cosmogonic vision from a spiritual and existential perspective. Through painting, installation, sculpture, digital art, and sound, his work offers immersive experiences that invite reflection and sensory connection.
He has worked as a researcher and analyst of museography and museology at the National Museum of Ecuador (MuNa), contributing to the design and development of temporary and permanent exhibitions. As a cultural manager, he has led projects in curation, museography, audiovisual production, and artistic training. He has collaborated with his visual proposal in various production companies for the development of musical events and has worked in art and design for several groups in the Ecuadorian music scene.
He currently directs Cadáver Exquisito Estudio Creativo, a cultural platform where he develops his work and which also functions as a space for research in museography and museology, exhibition management, and arts education. Through this initiative, he promotes the production of events, the formation of new audiences, and the interdisciplinary exploration of art as a tool for knowledge and transformation.
