Elke
Bügler began her artistic career in the spring of 2023, when she recognised her
great passion and began to study materials, techniques and colour theory on her
own.
It was something that her art teacher at
school had asked her to do many, many years before. Life has a rhythm of its
own, and it was probably not the right time.
She now follows the path of the artist with
all her heart, expressing her inner thoughts in a work of art that touches the
interested viewer and stimulates reflection.
The
self-taught artist, Elke Bügler is passionate about bringing the facets of her
inner world to canvas. From large-scale flowers and impasto sailing boats to
abstract structures and monochrome visualisations, her creativity knows no
bounds. Characterised by a red colour palette, her work is a spontaneous and
dynamic expression of acrylic painting. Inspired by her favourite colour red,
she continues to use it in new and vibrant ways.
The artist
experiments with colours and structures, from the figurative to the abstraction
of a movement or emotion in colour. Sometimes she approaches the realisation of
her ideas in a planned and direct way, only to give free rein to her
imagination in a playful way the next moment. In the end, the creative process
results in a unique piece that stands on its own and conveys a clear message.
