Ludovica Andrea Brunetti, born on 27 September 1996, is a self-taught
Roman artist.
She attends a high school of classical address,
but parallel to the studies she begins to pursue painting in acrylic and
watercolor, then to deepen the pictorial activity focusing almost exclusively
to oil painting.
She studies singing for about 8 years, learns
to play the guitar (also this self-taught), writes songs with her brother,
always uses all means to express her inner world.
She completed her university studies at the
interfaculty of Architecture-Civil Engineering of the "La Sapienza"
university in 2022 and works first as an architect, then as a civil engineer,
carrying on her artistic activity in parallel.
She begins to attend many exhibition events,
meets other minds and artistic visions and finally understands the true meaning
of her art making.
The works are a photograph of a state of mind,
contaminated by the time spent in the realization of the works themselves. All
works start from an initial sensation, and then evolve and contain also
subsequent emotions.
In fact, her process is born from an idea
input, the one that is often called inspiration, but which in itself does not
yet have the real content. It is, in fact, only the spark.
The actual process, which lasts for days, but
sometimes even months, contains in itself the experience of that time.
The final product will therefore contain that
window of life, which - not only to the observer but also to the artist herself
- will then be inaccessible and sealed inside the work.
The works assume the role - almost sacred - of
"guardians" of that time, which Ludovica Andrea can remember and
tell, but which will have already transformed herself into someone else.
