While studying as an architect I minored in academic art. Although art has always been my passion, I only dared to follow my artistic dream after emigrating to the Netherlands during the covid'19 pandemic. Against the backdrop of a world in turmoil I began to depict the crises of my subjects while studying the overarching human condition. The individual's inner world is depicted through a symbolic use of language and imagery.

In my series "Human and Fish," I worked with used cardboard and researched the correlation between values of art materials, craft and the statements an artist is capable of making. In my newest series "Nuclear Paradise," I explore how humanity in the 21st century copes with the constant threat of annihilation and crisis through visual images/metaphor.

Despite the depressive connotation, humanity retains the same vitality that runs through generation after generation along the wheel of time. I aim to reflect this contradiction through the language of art.
