Simon Boyd (b. 1978) studied Fine Art at Middlesex University, London (1997–2001). Since 2007, he has lived in Argentina, working as a full-time landscape painter.
In 2009, he held a major solo exhibition at the British Arts Centre in Buenos Aires, and in 2016, he participated in the International Biennial of Contemporary Art (Buenos Aires). “I am dedicated to exploring the beauty of the natural environment through my art. My work spans a spectrum from realism to abstraction, reflecting my deep fascination with the landscapes around me. The expansive skies of La Pampa serve as my primary inspiration, infusing my canvases with a sense of magic and freedom. Through my art, I strive to remind viewers of our interconnectedness with nature and the importance of looking outward as we seek to create a better future.”
