Agata Borowska - visual artist based in Warsaw,
Poland (analog collage, painting and drawing); born 1974
Having spent over 25 years in my
chosen profession, a field in which I hold a master’s degree in administration
from the Faculty of Law, I decided to make a complete career shift. I felt a
huge need for a significant change. Since I have always been drawn to
artistic pursuits, I completed a course in painting, drawing, and collage
making at the Artistic Center in Warsaw: from 2021 to 2023.
My next step was to complete
postgraduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, Poland, where I
focused on creating painting and drawing works in the 2022/2023 academic year.
In October 2023, I started postgraduate
studies at the Art Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in
Warsaw, majoring in History of Modern Art.
In 2023 I have been a finalist of
the international art contests: YICCA PRIZE 23/24 (with my collage) and the
Women United Art Prize 2023, in the category of collage&fiber art.
In 2024 my collages have been
featured in the Suboart Magazine.
